M&T Table

Introducing the M&T Table, a high-quality geometric side table that is perfect for use in a bedroom or living room setting. Constructed from ash, this table's utilization of mortise and tenon joinery ensures that it is sturdy and long-lasting.
This project began with a design brief that required the creation of a small side table featuring minimalist-inspired legs that utilized mortise and tenon joinery. To fulfill this brief, detailed drawings were generated using Fusion 360 software that outlined the dimensions, material specifications, and scale of the final product.
My design objectives for this project were centered around the creation of a side table that was geometrically striking, featured contrasting colors, possessed a bulky form, and was highly durable in its function. Overall, the M&T Table represents the successful outcome of a project that combined high-quality materials, expert craftsmanship, and a focus on achieving design objectives to create a visually pleasing and functionally sound piece of furniture.
Design Brief
Design and draw a small side table with very minimalist inspired legs using mortise and tenon joinery. Using Fusion 360, create detailed drawings to outline dimensions, material, and scale, and then bring the design to life using chosen materials.
